We are writing to announce a community meeting to discuss the start of construction at 8777 Washington, the corner of Washington and National Boulevards.
In June the City Council adopted a Zone Change from General Commercial (CG) and East Washington Overlay (EW) to Planned Development 13 (PD-13) pursuant to CCMC section 17.240 et seq. and a Comprehensive Plan pursuant to CCMC section 17.560.020 to allow development of a 132,500 square foot commercial development, including 128,000 square feet of office space and 4,500 square feet of ground floor pedestrian-and-commuter-serving retail and food retail. The parking includes 392 spaces on the ground floor and 3 subterranean levels.
The community meeting will be hosted by Lincoln Property Company and Morley Builders/Benchmark Contractors, Inc. Representatives from the developer and construction team will present the construction management plan for the project and answer questions from the community about upcoming construction activities. Food and refreshments will be provided.
